Graham V. Hartstone was born in Uxbridge, England, in 1944.
He is a British sound engineer who has worked on over 220 productions since 1962.
His career began at Pinewood Studios in the early 1960’s as a sound assistant. Over the years he quickly rose through the ranks and soon became one of finest sound engineers in the industry. Over the course of his career he has been associated with several major film franchises, notably working on no less than 17 James Bond films between 1962 and 2002. He also worked on 14 “Carry On” films and was the sound camera operator for all three Morecambe & Wise feature films “The Intelligence Men” (1965), “That Riviera Touch” (1966) and “The Magnificent Two” (1967).
In a career filled with highlights, some of those include being nominated three times for an Academy Award for his work on “Superman” (1978), “A Passage to India” (1984) and “Aliens” (1986).
Now retired, Graham enjoys meeting fans and attending events at Pinewood Studios and other locations.
In "You Only Live Twice", Graham V. Hartstone worked alongside Norman Wanstall in the sound editing department as an uncredited re-recording mixer.
The Bond Archives has had the pleasure of meeting Graham on a number of occasions at Pinewood Studios and other events.

Graham worked on a number of a major films in 1967, including "Billion Dollar Brain".
