The Bond Archives are delighted to announce that our next exclusive private signing will be with JOSÉ ABDALA!

This will be his FIRST EVER autograph signing!

A very rare name from the world of James Bond, Mexican actor José Abdala is best remembered for his comedic role as the Tanker Driver during the iconic chase sequence in “Licence To Kill” in 1989. As fans will recollect, his role was to block the road and to stop 007 from chasing down Franz Sanchez. After failing to do that, he is run into the mountain side by Bond and then has to run for his life after Pérez fires one of the stinger missiles, which destroys what was left of his tanker!

Away from the world of 007, Señor Abdala (affectionately known as ‘Pepe’) has been a regular performer in Mexican films, television and commercials. He appeared in the feature films “Los Demonios del Desierto” (1990), “La Fuerza del Odio” (1990), “Este Vampiro es un Tiro” (1991), “Las Aventuras de Fray Valentino” (1994), “Mexico City” (2000) and “The Last Death” (2011).

We have a wide variety of shots from “Licence To Kill” available (size 8×10 inches), as well as also offering collectors to send in their own items under the ‘SEND IN‘ product page.

We will also be providing a very limited number of photos signed by both ALEJANDRO BRACHO (Pérez) and JOSÉ ABDALA! These will be on a first come first serve basis!

The signing will be open for orders from the 2nd of November, 2025, and will remain open until early 2026.
